Outlast¨ technology is the original, proactive heat and moisture management technology, and the only phase change material (PCM) that is Certified Space Technologyª. Originally developed for NASA, Outlast¨ technology enables any textile to absorb, store and release heat to provide optimal thermal comfort. Outlast has the broadest range of PCM textiles in the market, utilized in different end uses Ð from bedding and apparel to footwear and other applications. Our product offering includes Outlast¨ viscose fiber, Outlast¨ MIC, Outlast¨ polyester fiber, Outlast¨ acrylic fiber and Outlast¨ coating. Outlast¨ technology is not wickingÑwicking reactively manages moisture after the body has started to sweat, therefore pulling it away from the skin. Outlast¨ technology proactively manages heat while controlling the production of moisture before it begins.
