It also showed that between April 2019 and March 2021, total e-commerce order value increased exponentially:
And we saw a significant increase in packages deliveries year-over-year as well, with spring and summer seeing the most drastic change as most of the country was locked down in mid-2020:
The takeaway? With both order values and package deliveries trending upwards, even as we move beyond the pandemic-era boom, it’s important to measure how your business’ bottom line is influenced by both customer spend and shipping costs.
